Power Steering 172!
I'm having problems with my steering being heavy now and again. Does any1 know if there's a regulator for the steering and if so where it is? I think this may be the problem.- stu-172

Mine does the same! Just ordered a new power pack there! try taking the two lights out and swap the power packs over, that way you can eliminate possible problem parts.- stu-172

172 hubs all the same?
Should be the same, the rear discs and all are the same, so front shud be 2, just the 172FF has ABS and the cup doesn't. Ask Fred- stu-172

Steering Trouble! Help!!!
About a week ago I noticed the steering in my 172 was a bit heavy. Now when I drive it sometimes it's heavy and other times it's normal. Anyone any ideas wot this cud be? Possibly pump? Thanks, Stuart- stu-172

Tyre pressures are fine. The steering also feels a bit nobbly when you turn the wheels whilst stationary!- stu-172

how many cables on a 172 alternator?
Yea, there's 1 large power lead and a plug. Thats it. If you overtighten the bolt you can wreck the regulator!- stu-172

Lol! Is it easy enough to remove the sump with the engine in? I'm guessing I'll have to loosen the mounting bolts and lift the engine slighty?- stu-172
