I agree 100% Alan, It's not for me its for her, I'd rather her get a 172 PH2 or a 182 but she wants a PH1 !!... Makes matters worse as its located pratically at the end of my lane

Nice input Alan Exhausts look sh*t but apart from that its a minter, Standard exhaust to put it back to standard then imo it's a good little car

First thing would be the death exhaust's removed and replaced with a standard system but literally thats all that needs doing

Shame its gone Seb but i suppose kitchen and bathroom is more important, I was looking at my 197 earlier in a petrol garage and there was a baked bean filling up behind me, We got chatting about the differences and i couldnt help thinking the 197 is so much better looking than a 1*2, Sorry Roy ...

I have a standard 197 and have driven a R27, Day to day driving i doubt you'd tell the difference with the cup chassis, Its 3mm lower IIRC and thats all i care to know about it, Some will say go for the R27 based on its got "CUP" Chassis etc but imo if your not tracking it the standard form 197...
