I prep'd mine by giving them a good wire brushing over first, then another wash after that. Two coats of hammerite smooth later and the jobs done. I did find that the Hammerite paint dries quickly and even starts binding...
The camera I was using was a Nikon D70s Digital SLR. Used a mixture of two lenses, although around 90% of the pictures were taken with the longer 70mm-300mm zoom lens. Mainly just used the Sport mode on the camera as I thought I was getting some quite good results with that, should have really...
Oh right, wasnt too sure. There was a bit of a break and that was when I made my way round to the Pit straight bridge.
Thought something must of happened as he came down the paddock in the circuit medical car looking abit sheepish.
The pics of DC and the rest of the Red Bull boys were taken through glass. They were sitting in a sort of hard shell marque and you could see right in which is where the longer lens came in handy, the rest of them seemed to dissapear pretty rapid into the motor homes.
The drivers themselves...
I found it easier to take the Full Beam bulb out first, gives you a little more space to get your fingers / small pliers in to get a grip on the bulb holder.

*** SILVERSTONE F1 TESTING PICTURES, 26 APRIL 2006 ***
At testing today there was the majority of the teams aswell as the majority of the GP drivers: Renault, Mclaren, BMW, Williams, Honda, Midland, Red Bull & Torro Rosso.
Arrived at about 11:45 by which point I had apparently...
Have to agree, I think its around the 4.5K - 5K area.
As for the H1 & H7 business, no they wont fit. Albeit they may be filled with a slight amount of Xenon they still work by producing light from a filament. The Xenon that they put in these does increased light output slightly but the blue...
I had a 1.2 Dynamique before I got my current 1.4 Dynamique. Have to say Renault can make a really nice engine, using the gears wisely it can be quite pleasing.
Decided on a change after a year to my current 1.4 which I took delivery of in March last year. Comparing that to the 1.2 yes it is...
There are 3 main bulbs you can go for in regards to indicators.
1. The Philips SilverVision (which I have) seen below:
2. The Osram Diadem which have a blue tinge, seen below:
3. The Silvertec indicator bulb
Both the Philips SilverVisons and Osram Diadems can be purchased from...
I agree, I have my Origin B2 antena on the little plastic shelf thats on either side of the main parcel shelf. The wiring is then routed back under the rear door card and then under the rubber door trim to the front of the car where the connections are made.
The second antena for my satnav is...
Thought so, couldnt quite tell with the sun reflecting in that part, shame its there tbh. Still that aside it looks like a very nice motor and well cared for. Some quite tastefull wheels too. * * * * *:clown:

The calipers are stanard OEM ones that are on a 2005 1.4 Dynamique. The logo that was on the calipers was TRW, which can be seen in the picture below on the bottom squarish part. Havent got a clue about the pads, never replaced them havent even looked at them.

Cracking meet guys, excellent weather, enjoyed the bit of a convoy even though we did lose half the field, was good to see the reactions of people, especially on the main road in Ironbridge.
Have to say thankyou to the...
They dont look as brilliantly as white / blue compared the xenons, which isn't surprising, probably because they dont have the power but the main point is they dont look yellow like the standard OEM bulbs did, which was the main objective of putting them in.
When the bulbs are'nt being used...
Yes, 99p + 1.99 P&P.
I have Philips Bluevision side lights on mine, freshen up the look at the front when the Xenons are on.
Don't be expecting any brilliant lighting from them though, as they have said they are Xenons in the title, its only the blue stain on the bulb that gives it a blue...
Haven't been able to do it yet Rich, been consistantly pissing it down for the last 3 days, only getting a maximum of 1 hour where it is'nt raining, or spitting.
Probably looking like a week or two's time if I can get some good weather at the weekends.
Will do more pics when I get round to...

These places have a good variety, but I have seen some really good prices in the local Halfords recently. A good couple of quid cheaper on some stuff, especially cloths and towels. Also no added P&P...
To be honest I dont think the indicator bulbs were that hard to do. True the drivers side is a little more tricky with the A/C pipes but they are no way near as tricky to do compared to the other lights lower down in the cluster. Found that out when I did the BlueVisions.
As for the...
The bulb is in a little holder ( as seen in these pics: http://s130967247.websitehome.co.uk/clio/clio_silvervisions/ ), basically a quarter turn on this and its out, swap the bulb and pop it back in. Bring them along on sunday if you want us to have a look :)
