    Crop tool in Word

Strange sometimes, they only really see us when somethings gone wrong. For example their PC's crashed and they havent pressed the save button in the last 3 hours they've been working on it, they leave with a strop because we cant get it back. They must think theres like some special button we...

    Crop tool in Word

Dont think so, I'm an IT Technician at the countries leading comprehensive. We get this quite often with people making docs that are 60+ meg full of screen shots, pasted straight into word, then wonder why the document keeps crashing or they run out of network storage space. Best thing to do...

    Calipers pic request...:)

Although you saw mine yesterday heres another, mines Pearl Black too. Was toying with the idea of black front calipers but litterally changed mind when I was picking up the tin in the shop to silver. Chris

    fading paintwork?

I think Klasse All in One has been recommended for paint fade / oxidation before, probably best applied by a polisher or can be done by hand with abit of work. A wax once a month doesnt have to be too taxing, a good spray one such as this: http://www.motorgeek.co.uk/optimum-sizes-p-167.html...

    Arch scrub and Calipers painted

Thanks for all the great comments guys, especially liking rich172's :approve:. Like I said, it was slow and steady. Started about 10:30 - 11:00 and it was about 5:30 when I eventually finished packing up. Had lunch in that time too though, so wasnt too bad for a clean of both front arches...

    Scrubbed arches and cleaned wheels

That looks cracking rich, have seen it before and is a good guide. The liners in the clio make it quite easy to basically wipe down, on my pictures it looks like I've not got it all off but it's black paint. Not sure if its some type of blackish grey under coat or spray from the actual paint...

    Scrubbed arches and cleaned wheels

Well to be honest the car is only just over a year old, cleaned regularly, and as part of the usual clean I try and have a rub around with my hand and an old sponge to get any salt or grit out. Today I used a normal shampoo mix of Megs NXT wash, this was used with an old dustpan and brush...

    Scrubbed arches and cleaned wheels

Had the wheels off the front today with the main aim of painting the calipers. Thought while I was at it I might as well give the arches a good going over and give the wheels a little TLC. All can be seen over here: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=135908 56K'ers beware. Chris

    Arch scrub and Calipers painted

Right, had a slow and steady day today, decided to give the arches a good clean, used some car wash solution and AG Engine and Machine Cleaner for this. Also in the plan was to prep the calipers and paint them, had some silver Hammerite smooth to do this. All can be seen below. Enjoy :o . 1...

    Good digital Camera

I think the main DSLR models that most people tend to go for are the Canon 350d, Nikon D50 and Nikon D70s. I have the D70s and have found it really good in the few months I've had it. Chris

    Wall mounted Plasma/LCD

We use Scion ( http://www.sciontech.com/ ) equipment at school, allows us to distribute AV sources around the building with remote control facility from a central location. All video is distributed over CAT5e, we use this to broadcast to the 60 projectors and a few tv's in the school so we only...

    Upgrading CPU, Mobo & RAM

Think you have some good prices there, definately on the RAM, even Crucial themselves dont sell it that cheap, which is surprising as I usually deal with them directly for my memory. http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/MPartspecs.Asp?mtbpoid=43BD2151A5CA7304&WSMD=D865GBF&WSPN=CT12864Z40B Chris

    good flash

The detergent in them is rubbish, better of sticking to your quality shampoo that you've already got. As for the drying bit, yes it uses filtered water to take out the minerals that leave water marks plus the water just glides of but you can sheet the water with a normal hose and it pretty much...

    Recommend Cleaning/Waxing Products

^^ Yep, pretty much the same as above, the Collinite #476 is a really durable wax. Another nice wax that I would recommend is P21s Carnuba wax, very nice and easy to work with, both applied with the megs applicator pads. Some tyre dressing is a must in anyones kit, Meguiars Endurance Gloss...

    Megs Spend Up :P

I'd drop the Hot Shine tyre Dressing and go for the Meguiars Endurance Tyre Dressing Gel. It's a purple liquid and is in a bottle similar to washing up liquid, has about the same consistancy come to that too. Chris

What do you think is the best glass cleaner?

^^ Ditto, AG Glass Polish & AG Fast Glass (Spray). Use the Glass polish for proper deep cleaning every month or so then fast glass in between, both with a Microfibre cloth. Chris
