Looks like an awesome day out, some lovely cars there! The facelift Twingo is horrendous though!
Any more info on the blue & red "murena" things? What are they?
So good to see you took all the stick like a man but actually took the comments and criticism on board, it's really starting to look well! Untint lights + windows and that'll be well on it's way to quite a smart wee motor!
I have a mk3 aswell (but the newer facelift model) and unless you're loaded there's not alot you can do to them as coilovers etc are so expensive!
All I've done to mine is silvervision indicator bulbs all round, wind deflectors, taken the C L I O badge off the back and LED sidelights
Looks nice and clean that! Tbh for your first car I wouldn't spend too much butchering it with moidz, just enjoy driving, enjoy it for what it is and spend money keeping it on the road!
I'm sorry but I have to agree with this. Not only does it look like it's had Olay anti-wrinkle cream rubbed all over it, the bumpers and bonnet fitments are all wonky and there are panel gaps everywhere. Plus it looks like it was painted with white enamel and a roller. Fair play to you for...
LOVE a white GT! I have a TCE myself. Plans do sound good, although I'd avoid a flip screen headunit (I think they look really cheap and tacky). Not sure how the Twingo alloys would look either but I guess you could give it a go?
Even more subtle bits and pieces make a big difference, stuff...
Little black 51 plate non-sport 1.6 going from the football park, past the Dunfermline Building Society offices and into Rosyth before pulling into the bus stop outside Rosyth train station today about the back of 4.
Was lowered with RS rear bumper, silver bullets, RS grille etc, anyone here?
I think that looks awful. If it's a standard non-sport mk3, you'll need to lower it by about a foot before anything else. If you do want better sound (the quality on standard speakers in mine is surprisingly good as it is), a small active sub in the boot plus uprated door components and tweeters...
Horrible news about your son, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Very moving to hear that you're keeping a hold of his car, and what an absolutely stunning example it is aswell!
Those memory sticks really are the future - my dad currently has an Ibiza estate courtesy car with a USB port in it...
Awesome little cars, I went through a stage a couple of months ago of really wanting one of these, and actually went to see an identical white one like that! Was inches away from trading in the TCE for it!
Most ironic thread title evAr!
Surely that has to be higher than standard ride height? Even my old ph2 which was bog standard wasn't as high as that...
