I have a TCE and whilst it's brilliant, I really don't think it's worth the hassle and expense of an engine swap for a normal 1.2. Just take it for what it is, a 1.2, that's all it's ever going to be

Yeah coilovers look so good on the mk3 but they're very expensive. I haven't really done anything major to mine, just silvervisions all round, wind deflectors and debadged at the rear. Gonna get those H&R springs though and get some decent pictures of it fitted soon enough! How much did you pay...

£1300 is a bargain! Get some photos up, plans sound good, just don't smoke or tint anything! You'd be better off leaving the lowering springs for now too and save up a bit for those £170 Rokkor coilovers off ebay!
