Cheers mate a few things that put me off the silverline was the short lead and I could change it but then lose the warranty. Also lack of on switch just a button you have to hold. Is it still worth getting a 3m pad or will the supplied ones be ok? What are the pads supplied with the £100 deal...

No I polished it, it was really cloudy and faded. Took alot of swirls out but there is still alot there. It was a pinky colour and was horrible and cloudy. Now its RED. But the red of the paint is on the pad i was wondering is that bad? EDIT sorry as above the non polished bits look really poo...

Car is a old corrola so jap paint. is a red car and the pad was an orange one.

If you are using a da and you havent burnt the paint, its coming up pretty well but still has swirls but the paint colour is on the pad does that mean your doing something wrong?

Re: Fitting shocks, should I be able to put the shock in and bolt up hub, seems too l you need 2 people mate. one person pushes down on the wishbone(i think) and the other pulls it. Have the nut ready to go in then hammer it in. Thats the way I did it. Needs a fair bit of force to go back in.

I think thats what it is the guy said he managed to change it and then it would go in all gears, When mine was stuck it only went into 5th.

Had the same type of problem, It was driving fine and then it would only go into 5th. I messed about with the selector and linkage but nothing. Turns out it was some bush that had failed near the gearbox or something a very small one. Not the upper and lower gbox mounts as I replaced them. Cost...

OMG can you not read? Dynamat only adds panel mass which stops rattles and so on. You need a barrier! Like luxury liner or silent coat overkill.

if you gain on average 20bhp with ITB's on a 2litre id love to see how much 2-5k will difference will make to a 1.2? plus carbs are old skool.

Just some guesses here, coilpack ok? check HT leads arent being snagged? plugs propperly installed? Ht leads on in the right order? Is your maf thing (top right of the manifold) clean and plugged in propperly?

ANY oil is better than no oil. Im not sure about any other clios but the 2.0 need 5-40.

Fuchs been bought over by unipart. So unipart oil is pretty much Titan. Gsf stopped doing fuchs as the range is overlapping and stupid which I agree with. Opieoils sucks IMO delivery is far to expensive.

JMS have a great rep on here so that a +1. The rs tuner you can check faults and that has paid itself pretty much so its up to you.
