Just sent a front and rear shock out to Holland yesterday so they can measure what they need to in order to make me up my new suspension , should be ready in about 4 weeks , they have sent me a picture of a Lada set up they did recently to give me an idea of what i'll be getting
These are the...
I need the 3 way set up for the rallying I am looking to do , Was quoted just over £4k from AST with a trade discount offered , still worked out over £3k , but its just the feedback I got that put me off , people braking or bending them and then having to wait ages to get it fixed , I'm not...
I am looking for some 3 way suspension for my car , and AST was at the top of my list after looking whats available , but after getting feedback from people who have them , and the timescale on getting them , and repairing them , it put me right off them.
I had an email from Reiger the other...
Its the only one in the world as far as I know , because BMW wont supply one new this colour , you can get a similar colour called Monte Carlo blue , which is a special edition with black wheels and trim , I had mine resprayed from Silverstone blue
See here for a start to finish thread I did...
I had an RS4 on my list when I bought this , but they seem to have too many problems considering the money I was looking to spend , the main problem is the inlet ports coking up , and they all seem way down on the quoted power , and the suspension has problems leaking , after reading up on them...
Yes was me , was there wednesday for the shakedown and thursday for the special stage , it's not bad is it:D
Was blowing a gale a bit thursday , hopefully going up to Resolven tomorrow
This is why I am setting up this test , not many people will have good things to say about them , I have never been a fan of green or red stuff pads , the new blues have changed my mind , they are very good.
My son has a 360hp EVO 7 and on Castle Coombe he could not fade them , they are wearing...
No , they are a step up from yellows , the blues are great coming out of your street first thing in the morning , and flat out round castle coombe , they are great everywhere , a fantastic all round pad
I will be offering out 5 sets of my grooved discs and bluestuff pads next week FOC to 5 members on here for some honest feedback on the new bluestuff pads , then offering them out on a group buy if there is some interest , they will be quite a bit cheaper than the DS2500's .
Up till recently I...
You have obviously not tried them , I sell all the big name pads , and in my opinion the BRAND NEW EBC bluestuff pads are the best all round pad available today
Drove my clio cup race car around the trading estate after picking it up the other week and it bounces all over the road , absolutely no good for rallying ! so my cup suspension is going into storage , trying to decide what suspension to fit now , down to a shortlist of three , I want 3 way...
My question was polite , and to the point asking a genuine question , and neither is my neck wound out lol:D
We have just signed up to become a trader on here , and organising with Revels to pick 5 people to be given a set of front and rear grooved discs and EBC bluestuff pads free of...
No I don't have my own body shop , had it done by someone local that does a lot of custom work and restorations , they don't make the current model in estoril , mines the only one in existence lol
I quite like the German cars myself lol , built an E30 M3 from scratch a few years ago , took me 2 years to do , 2.5 4 cylinder engine putting out 316hp with a Drenth 6 speed sequential dog box , it was a very quick tarmac rally car
Had an SMG E46 M3 for nearly 4 years , all standard...
Just looked at your web site , and threads by you and you do sell brake pads ? seen you selling Ferodo DS2500's , just wondering , if you were that involved with the development of the new bluestuff pads , how come your not selling them ? just seems a bit odd you coming on saying you were...
A few threads up you mention you were involved with the development with them , and you say why would you bother selling them when you are selling parts for clio's ??
Yes would like the name for the EBC engineer thanks
I found the same with the DS2500's and PF z rated , nearly ran up the back of someone in my M3 with these fitted ! took them out after a week , thats whats really impressed me with the new Bluestuff pads , they work brilliantly from cold , probably the best pad I have used from cold , and just...
With regards to EBC , up till now I have never been a fan of them , but was sent some samples to try the brand new bluestuff compound , and I have to be honest they are the best pad I have tried in a long time , I rate them better than DS2500's and Performance friction Z rated , I know a lot...
Cheers guys , will be making a start on it shortly , in the mean time if anyone is after any 172 parts , I'm stripping down the donor car I bought and most parts are available
