Surely though if your looking for replacement engines its easier and cheaper just to fix the original. The original needs to be removed if being replaced so why not repair? You will then also no that the cambelt and auxbelt is new

around the y reg I think they swapped over although it might be closer to R/S reg

my guess is they all do the same thing, but ive noticed some are made from different materials ( brass nipples/stainless etc ).
