I cut them down then welded the thread back on, then ground down the weld, also welded the top parts that reno missed
The pipe is cut to 40"
Had to cut 2 disks to weld on either end as the pipe is hollow. Then turned the disks and welds down on a pedestal grinder
Tomorrows task is to weld a flange either end with a hole in it to mount to the supsension tops
Currently has rear seats removed, dewipered, green cotton panel filter and more bits painted green on the inside.
If the weathers good tomorrow il take some pics of the rear and inside
I think if you were to run an airfilter through the bonnet it would take on too much air for the ecu to handle, TB's and the car mapped for the extra air intake would be a solution
Once you get the full surround off the car pick at the glue with a combi of a knive and flat head screwdriver.
Use either superglue etc or some clear silicone to stick it back on
Schweppy I took the rear seats out of my corsa then used some vibe 6x9's in 6x9 boxes where the bench was. As the speakers are designed to give all the vocal range the bass was increased
be very gentle wetflatting, use soapy water. Go very slow with 2000+ grit, dont aim for a glossy finish just giv very light dustings of laquer. POlish will give the shine you want
