This compunds my theory that most rolling road equipment is wholly inaccurate and really only there to please people who use them, so they come back.
A dyno is what you need.

Went to Trade Sales today looking at a new Mitsi L200 Animal (4 cab pickup jobbie) as a replacement for my Shogun (not yet tho), and saw 2 V6s there. It gave me an opportunity to have a really close look at them. I must say, I really do love it. The quality of the "add ons" in the body...
There are things a switched on person can check. Yes its all very well having the paperwork, but you should check it all out, phone the garages, phone the MOT places etc.
Anyone who buys a clocked car is a bit of a spanner if you ask me. There are some very simple things you can do to tell...

I dont tend to worry about Tax too much. The tax has just run out on the clio, but I use it so little at the moment, I probably wont tax it until next month.

There is another way to tell a Williams engine to a 16v. The blocks strengthening patterns are different. Sad it is that I know this fact, but nevertheless true.

God a Williams with a sunroof...thats sacrilige.
Watch the roof...they have been known to crease with the sunrooves butchered into them (in the 16vs)

My uncle has an X5 and had the brake problem that theyve been recalled for.
BMW are going through a rough patch with recalls - look at the problems theyve had with the new M3 engines spitting rods and cooking cranks?
Rocky times for Bavaria.

Ive heard many a story about Prima, and the general consensus has been avoid like the plaque.
This is the opinion of others, and I myself have never bought anything from them.
Judge for yourself.

That is why whenever I buy a car for breaking, I always get a receipt from the seller, as well as noting the address, phone number and email address, should anything come of it.
Its amazing what people get upto in this day and age tho isnt it?
