What do you pay?
Been quoted £260 for 4 x Toyo Proxies, and same dealer said they'd do some Conti Premiums at that price too.
Reasonable? These are 185/55/15's H.
Thx,
P.
Hey guys,
Just wondering what tyres you have on your Dynamiques, and what you paid/pay for them on a regular basis.
Had some Continental Premium Contacts (185/55/15H) which were really good.
Not sure whether to get the same again, as my new budget tyres (Corsa 55's?) are pretty crap.
Only had...
Facking hell! You boys are all paying less than what i just paid for my budget set of 4 185/55/15 H's, and you all have 16"s :(
What trick am I missing?
£140-£200 for 195/45/16's is pretty mint! Are these nationwide dealers/stockists?
Thanks,
Pete.
Ahh, ok mate.
Yeah seriously, was a blue 172 cup with that plate outside that particular kebab shop, opposite Centrals between 1.15 and 1.30am. We got a taxi dead early, and there had just been a huge scuffle outside Bar Sun, two riot vans and a traffic car were on the case. I didn't see you or...
Lewis,
Are you 'R55 Cup' ?
I walked past you twice when you were inside your cup outside the kebab shop, opposite Centrals.
I pointed at your car from within the kebab shop doorway about a million times trying to explain to my mate the difference between a 172 and a 172 Cup.
Sorry to hear about...
F*ck being a rabbit or similar along that road with you about :rasp:
Did you not have full beam on at all?
Sounds nice geez, I can appreciate that dynamique roar too :D
I think it looks stunning mate, nice combo of colours and all.
Badges are very tasty, not sure if the red fits in though?
The wheels are particularly nice.
Hey guys,
Bought a touch up pencil from Reno for my 1.6, its a cherry red [or as they called it] and just would like to know the best way of applying for the nicest finish.
Got one quite deep scratch, and a few on the wing mirror and stuff etc...
Any simple way of doing it? Obviously I'll wash...
Awesome video mate, made me genuinely laugh!
Seemed a stunning 1.4, certainly looked it!
And gotta say, that overtaking manouvere past the 182 took some effing courage and large testicles, unless you knew something the camera didn't!
182 is a quality upgrade... Hoping to do the same at some...
I know yours is all colour coded mate, but you've got the 172 F + R bumpers reet? So would appear different.
Have spent many a minute looking at yours though :)
And not keen on the ph3's tbh but its just cool that Reno included colour coding as STD on a basic model [My thought was whyTF couldn't...
Guys,
Anyone colour coded their Mk2 Ph2 Dynamique spoilers at all?
Pics of a fully colour coded dynamique around that age would be a bonus too...
Don't the Mk2 Ph3 1.2 models come with full colour coding as standard?
Do they look any good? I've never really noticed much different between...
After some insurance quotes, the idea came to mind, but I can't photoshop for love nor money, so...
Show us your black 172's with Trophy's on :D
Thanks,
Pete.
I'm not really talking about quotes in general, I meant more specifically why a quote for a premium I’m currently using is more than the active one itself?
Has anyone suffered this too?
Doesn't make logical sense to me, I don't see why I would or should pay £1300 more for a premium when the...
Evening guys,
Getting quite worried tbh about my insurance quotes.
Current paying £990 with Asda [under written by NUDirect] on my 2003 Dynamique 1.6, thats a fully comp 12 month policy which includes 1years NCB.
After doing some quotes for a 182 earlier in the week, which came to around 4k...
Yup.
I try not to go above 3k revs on any cold engine, or I feel like I've hammered it! lol
When the water gauage is at least halfway, that's usually the green light imo.
lol FFS I'd be lucky to afford one employed!
Naa joke mate, sorry to hear about the job. Best of luck with your job search...
Edit > Very similar colour to mine actually. Your's is slightly lighter. Love it :)
What's there to know about these sat nav conversions, as they seem to be getting more popular?
Few things that spring to mind:
- Clearly you loose all use of your Std Renault clock/temp gauge, right?
- Does it mean you loose Std Renault CD/Tuner functionality too?
- In terms of security, is...

Anyone have any knowledge of these X950's?
Seem a very good price. Look impressive. Just wondering what reviews they get?
Thanks,
Pete.
Looks quite nasty mate, glad your ok though.
In all honesty, the car did quite well! Good job you were't in a Fiat, you'd have needed a brush and dustpan for that kind of accident :approve:
Is that Mondeo Estate OB, or just a passer by who kindly stopped?
Pete.
Old thread I know, but would those smoked ^^^ ones not be illegal? Look very dark!
I was thinking a very light black tint, almost a soft layer to grey them out a bit?
Thanks,
Pete.
£3020 for my old 96' P Punto 1.1 5 door when I was 18 and just passed by some monkeys, can't remember who though! Think it was Direct Line or Elephant LOL
I'm now paying below £1000 only a year later on my 1.6 16v with 1Yr NCB :)
Such, such t055ers. I bet most insurance company's directors'...
Guys,
Just interested what completely standard 172 and 182's sound like out of interest?
Is it a similar roar to CTR's and Cooper S', or is it in a different league exhaust wise?
Thanks,
Pete.
There's a liquid yellow 182 at Croyland Motors in Rushden, Northants.
They are complete rip-off merchants, prices are usually a couple of thousand over top book price, with high miles. I don't know the details of this one, but it's up for £9,995 and looks a real minter.
Probably at least 50k...
