Yup. You need a new motor/mechanism matey, Changed one on my 19 last week, grab one from a scrappy/GSF, and its quite an easy job to swap them over.

Talk to Jimbo on RSC, hes developed his own extender brackets, that you can use with 285mm discs of another Renault..

Make sure its a genuine Renault cable as well. Makes a difference.

Think therea a lot of debate on this one.. Some 172 drivers advise 1000 miles before you redline it, though I think others have ragged it sraight from new, with no ill effects. Me - Id take it easy for at least 500.

If youre box is popping out of gear, Im afraid it doesnt look good.. Probably a selector problem.. So yes - Gearbox is probably on its way out mate... How many miles has it done?

A lot of 19 owners have found HP chips make their engines Pink.. Just a warning.. Unichip the better route (IMO).

Clutch - Dont bother with BB or K-tec. 5 GT turbo clucth from Andyspares for £56 will easily handle what you need it to.

Could well be your headgasket, if youre losing water. is there a creamy mayonnaise residue in the filler cap? Also - have you checked your oil levels? As low oil levels will affect oil pressure.

Yup. Had spacers on my 19 when I got it.. Its dody fitting universal spacers, as the wheels are no longer mating with the hub, its the bolts that are taking all the load. V V dodge. Would take them off if I were you Rhys. Or at least get wheel/hub specific spacers. Ben
