They seem to have a lot of vehicles for sale, but only uploaded everything to their website recently; http://phelsdi.6te.net/
Anyway - been covered elsewhere: http://www.911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=78862&start=0&sid=39c1c6e5a4a56c6d2c19c1f26f25e3de
I put 6.5" Hertz ones (on MDF spacers) upfront, and although disappointing initially they've loosened up lately & are punchier. I'd like to put a mid-bass in the rear positions now.
I have a pattern exhaust centre section on the car, and recently fitted a Renault backbox as the pattern part hung too low & bashed the subframe.
But - the two pipes are the same diameter, so we had to use a sleeve tube (about 8") over them both & a couple of clamps to hold it in place. Now...
Standard/pattern have just 1 hanger. A couple of 'performance' aftermarket ones have two hangers - the 2nd connects to a mounting point in the middle of the car IIRC.
Pattern rear backboxes for these are, IME, rubbish. The proper Renault one is much better made.
Exactly - the airbox seals up the intake at that point, so water isn't sucked in.
There were a couple of '6s that killed engines by having a K&N 57i mounted low and ingesting water...
It's not that odd the phone not having LTE, as it's hardly available anywhere yet (and is chuffing expensive too) & adding it would have pushed the price up - I think it's a shrewd move - it's pretty much the only thing lacking.
You don't need the bumper off, but it can be a ballache getting in there to get it off if bolts, etc have rusted.
Factor in a new aux. belt as well while you're at it.
My fiancee & I have an upgraded joint bank account with LloydsTSB, and have used their mobile phone insurance twice - once for a repair (it was just replaced), the second time when one was lost.
Each time I had a new phone within a few days, very pleased with it. Most banks offer a similar...
That is incorrect advice.
The power cable must be rated higher than the amplifier requires, but the fuse should be matched as close to the amp's maximum requirement.
In this case, the fuse then protects both cable & amplifier together.
To the OP - you won't have 8AWG speaker cable, it'd...
If you can get under the car to look, the new welds should be fairly obvious.
FWIW, my pattern zorst backbox was always a bit noisy, not that much quieter than the rude-boy Powerflow one it replaced.
Well all my Android phones have worked with whatever in-car BT i've tried, and i've had 4 over the years! In fact, it's been more reliable than iphones as they've only recently sorted their sh*t out to get it working to the new BT standard like everyone else...
Suggest a check on Renault's...
Ask Wests Renault (on here) for prices for a pair of standard springs, they may be able to offer a tempting price to persuade you to stay standard & avoid the hassle.
Nads, the cable's not Vibe stuff, it's this: http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/6742.html just "Autoleads Q-DOS Competition Pro 1.5mm" stuff
Minor update, the speakers have started to be run-in and must be loosening up as there's a bit more bass/midrange present now.
The top end is still too bright/harsh though, so i'm going to run a load of new speaker cables through, have bought new connectors & crimp terminals (even found the...
Just ask instore & pretend like you want to buy those tracks.
Then go buy some Sennheiser HD 25-SP II headphone, or Grado SR 60s instead, ignore that beats audio pap!
My local Renault want to charge over £50 for 3litres of the Elf gearbox oil AND i'd have to take a container for it myself - I can get 5 litres delivered for less!
