This is not going to end well (no Turini/2118 content). Not a fan myself tbh.

    Need Professional's/mechanics Advice----am i right?

Early D4Fs have the TB in the plenum. On the later models (05 onwards iirc) the body is externally attached to the plenum.

    250 bhp 172 turbo.

Why would you spend big bucks on R888s and spoil the car with "facepalmland" coilovers? Massive fail imo.

gearbox replacement on a 1.2 grande

Must be damn cheap if it's worth the hassle. Easy job if you are handy with a spanner. Subframe may need dropping. Not sure.

Help - How do I get to the ABS pump?

It's in the engine bay mounted to the bulhead. The sound deadening might be a bit in the way.

Help - How do I get to the ABS pump?

ABS pump is integrated in the ABS block (passenger side on the bulkhead). If the pump is fubar'd you'll need to change the complete block.

    Best exhaust system

Still riding on the "PFC about 10 years ago bus"?

    Need some advice

Rear flange on a 182 cat/decat is different to the 172 exhaust systems. You'll need a link pipe/cat. K-tec sells them.

    What is this?

Some kind of bracket attached on the back of the cylinder head near the timing belt cover.

Should I replace this crank pully?

Would the "cracked" edge foul the aux belt? The crankshaft pulleys are quite pricey.

inlet and throttle body 1*2 help

Lower inlets are the "same" on all 1*2s. You need the proper plenum.

    Aux Belt Tightness

Auto tensioned with a tensioner (they love to fail).

Str-Ts are standard spec aren't they!?

    Spacers

What offset are the wheels? Your only option are 5mm standard spacers or hubcentric ones with a width of 13mm and above, everything else will make your wheels wobble or foul the hubs.

Valver wheels (not turbines) centre hub caps: what can I use?

Keep them naked, looks perfect. 172 Aliums look better without centre caps aswell imo.

    Which exhaust would you get?

Man up! It's not that loud.

    Track Rod Ends

    Bottom ball joints ok?
  23. mr.pink87

    Which exhaust would you get?

That's a yozza 2.5" race with 200 cell cat and 182 manifold. It's my (stripped) daily and it's fuckin' awesome.

Front subframe for 172: what difference between RS, non RS, LHD and RHD

Getting RS spares is pretty difficult here, as the car is quite rare (the reason i drive a RHD model). The Renault Sport one could have different dogbone mounting points, as the cup racer ran a different setup iirc. Personally i wouldn't drill a non sport subframe. Do it once, do it proper.

    Which exhaust would you get?

    Yozza all night long! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLyIXfnzKkA

Front subframe for 172: what difference between RS, non RS, LHD and RHD

Shouldn't be a difference between RHD and LHD. Non sports don't have the front gearbox mount hole.

    Whirring Sensor above my head

Yes it is. Don't know if the little fan and the sensor itself can be ordered seperately.
