you get kerb damage with most cars to be honest.
And the rear tyre will just be a budget one from a garage, due to a puncture or whatever. If the tread is decent on all the other tyres, just get a new PE2 and have it fitted.
Does a 36k service consist of getting both the aux and cam belts replaced? Or is it just the aux belt, but people recommend you get the cam belt done as well? Cos if they both need doing, I guess the service will cost about 5-600 quid which is a joke.
When I test drove my 172, didn't feel like anything special. But you have to bear in mind it was probably still cold, and it's like any car. You need to understand the gearing etc to be able to drive it to its full potential.
