I agree the driver was very lucky. There was an article in the Sun last year about someone who tried to commit suicide in a mk2 clio by driving it off a cliff but still survived.

If its for a mk2 clio the ph1 and ph2 are wired up different and so you have to change some of the wires around, most of the Lexus lights you buy are set up for the later ph2 clios.

I doubt you can take them apart as they would be sealed to prevent moisture getting inside them.
