Cheers mate :) I think ill do that, buy some sport ones, already smooth, just need to flat down like you said :) so fronts slide towards the back of the car and the rears slide towards the front?
So the side strips and bullets of a ph2 1*2 are the same fit as the ones on our non sports?
Also to remove them, do you just pull/pop them off? Heard they can be a pain
Got my scorpion Le Mans twin backbox for £35 off eBay. Best money spent ever! It was practically new, sounds beautiful. Angle grind the standard backbox off, and fit the new back box with exhaust clamps straight onto the centre pipe
That is not a bad deal at all to be fair! Everywhere else was quiting 2-3k for me as its my first car and was 19 at the time. But now I'm almost 21, 1 year NCB and fully comp for £700 will loadsa perks :)
My first year of insurance was £1400. Being a uni student Zurich/endsleigh offer good rates for students. With my modifications declared it went up to £1700.
But now this year I pay £700 with everything declared, fully comp :)
Have a flick through my PG thread. Please ignore the earlier chavvy stuff! Check out the last few pages, induction kit, exhaust, refurbed alloys, cliosport leather interior etc :)

Ah nice. I live near dartford and go to a uni in Medway. So were not too far from each other... Haha
Any modifications such as lower springs, induction kits etc require you to notify/ "declare your modifications". And yes - it does raise insurance unfortunately
Correct, if you want to go lower than 40 m&m then you need updated dampners. But if that's the case you might aswell go with coilovers as they are a whole damper & spring kit.

Look forward to the summer meets!
Yeah not too bad, leather interior is so comfy!
Full colour code is now in action! Been badgering Simon at SS loads! Got my spray gun and compressor so the small side strips & bullets, handle covers and wing mirror caps ill doing myself as I'm fairly handy at...
I've got 16" 172 alloys pal. And no charge, you fit then yourself, piece of cake :)
When it comes to lowering there's two options. Get lowering springs, max 40mm drop, or get coilovers, max of around 100mm. Personally if your using it as a daily driving car, I'd go for lowering springs. I...
Yeah, I've got a spray fun and compressor (stolen from dad!) and there's a car paint warehouse local to me where I can get it mixed up. Hopefully do it within a month or so
And get rid of them awful alloys! If your on a budget get some 16" 172 alloys.
If money's not an issue (which I'm guessing it is being a uni student like you :)!) then go for some team dynamics or turinis
Smart motor man, deffinately go for colour coding!
You said you didn't want the noise of an induction kit, yet you lost potential mods such as a K&N panel filter, and ktec/yozza exhausts - bit contradictory pal!
Nice colour by the way, personally when I lowered my car it handles so much...
It would appear I'm in dymchurch from Friday 26- Sunday 28april! Now I figured its about an hour drive to the service station in Sevenoaks from dymchurch. Depending how wasted I am Sunday morning I should be able to leave at 5 am and meet at Sevenoaks then convoy down to Brighton!
