From what I understand they have to use a Exetech (or equivalent) db meter.
Ofcourse an app wouldn't stand in court haha :)
Just been doing a bit of research around the subject as it seems to be a bit more frequent db fining now
1) you can put it down to that
2) the concrete in the tunnels don't absorb the sound hence echoing and recovering the full blast which will skew the readings slightly.

Dya mean a 172 bumper? Cause a 182 bumper has the dual cut outs in the centre of the bumper. Would look odd on a non sport.
172 bumpers you can get without cut offs.
