You can normally manually operate the locking mech with a screw driver to close it up. IME if you get some decent lubricant and operate it manually enough, they free up on most cars. May be a different case on the megane though.

I strongly suggest that from this point forth all car related issues are taken care of by a garage ;)

So you basically want three seconds of images? At say 12 frames a second? So 36 images? Given to you as say, 8 images per a4 page?

I've only ever owned four cars and none of them have been in the slightest bit embarrassing, except for maybe the wolfrace wheels on my first clio :o

Not necessarily. They switch could have an intermittent fault.
