I had 205/40R17 tyres and on 17s when I first got them and they really slowed me down was not impressed in the slightest. Fortunatley the place where I bought them from were really good and they changed the tyres for me. I now have 195/40R17 they are a little more expensive but well worth it...

Yeah the light comes on at different limits depending on the gear. I cant remember the figures off the top of my head though!

Depends on whether the car is warm or not. Mine comes on just above 7200rpm when warm and it can come on well below 7000rpm when cold!!

Ive got Pzero Neros on mine. I dont think there all that good to be honest and they wear really fast (or perhaps I drive like an arse all the time :D) I have done about 2000 miles on them and the fronts are half worn :oops: I only got them cos they were the only tyres that come in 195/40R17!!

Are your front tyres worn?? Some of the characteristics you mention are a result over overly worn tyres! Just a thought.

The Cup spoiler fits no probs to a 172! Paul 172 has one on his and it does look sweet!

Yes but if you had your exhaust replaced this time last year then the new one will be covered with another 1 years warranty so you should be OK. Mine was out of the years warranty but I kicked up a fuss, I even showed a copy of EVO where they quoted that their long termer had had the same...

Yeah the Cups are 16" as standard. The wheels are Speedline Turinis and you can get just about any size you want.

No mate they are 17" so new tyres too(Pirelli P-Zero). They set me back just over £1k

The V6 is 5 stud and the 172 is 4 stud so the rims of a V6 will never fit. The OZ super ts does come in a size that will fit the 172 bit I wouldnt recomend it
