i would advise widening your search. i travelled two hours on the train to crewe to look at a 182. my mates thought i was crazy but when i saw the car i knew it was worth the travelling...even left a deposit and caught the train the following week again to pick the car up. its sod's law...

Sounds sensible if it was mine id be keeping it standard and having it looking immaculate for now :) also the front bumper is crying out for a splitter. you going for standard discs and pads or aftermarket?

yeah i think they look much better anthracite. yeah the skoda fabia spiltters are cheaper but if i remmber rightly they arent a exact fit, im sure you have to cut a bit of each end, but easily done. someone correct me if im wrong!

when looking for a 182 i looked at all the colours they were made in and the first colours that caught my eye most were Artic Blue and Racing Blue so i knew there and then i wanted one in either colour. 8 months later and ive just bought an Artic Blue FF 182 so just go on the colour you prefer...

If i was in your position i'd definatly consider the mk 5 ZS. if just upgraded to a 182 after owning a ZS for 2 and a half years. very fun car to drive, handle well and a decent amount of power. the only downside i can say about them is the rust, i couldn't get rid of it but apart from that...

Oh so your the other person that was interested :) I know pal it was too good a price for me not to get it. I was gonna wait for a bit to contact dave cos I didn't think there woild be much interest around xmas time so I'm so glad I did get in contact and go see the car or I would have missed out!

so i sold my mk5 zetec S at the weekend and went to pick this up today..... As some of you may know the car belonged to 'Badger' AKA Dave. It's a Full Fat version with only 38,000 miles on the clock with FSH. It has a few choice modifications which include.... Recaro Trendlines...

bad luck pal i live in arnold and ive recently been seeing a silver 182 round ill keep my eye out for it and if theres any damage to it ill make a note of the reg number

good job you realised in time pal! im quite lucky because my local garage actually send a letter out a month before my MOT is due. obviously this is done so they get the business but least it reminds me ha!
