Yeah I did some research on the forum and found it was common with them. The service light hasn't come on since so hopefully was just a one off but will get it sorted if it happens again, heard they are only around £10 from renault and I've found the guide on here how to do it...
haven't really got any pictures of the clio since i purchased it 3 weeks ago, only on the driveway.
so on a bit of a whim this afternoon on the way to the girlfriends decided to drive up a lane thats dead quiet, as it is blocked off at one end.

my dad retires from the fire brigade next year with a good pension and he's always said he's wanted one of these so hopefully he will treat himself so i can just hear that noise in the flesh!

but if i was you i wouldnt bother modifying it, just save the pennies up, get your education and when insurance allows get a RS clio...sorted.
ive got a standard airbox with an itg panel filter, ive never driven a standard one so cant really comment the diffrence but it isnt too loud tbh and as for power it will have little if any effect on the performance of the car.
as for your splitter it is a lot cheaper to get the fabia one but...
all depends how you feel about it, if you feel like its time to grow up then move on to something more sensible if not just carry on enjoying owning a fun car.
im only 23 but i dont think ill ever grow out of hot hatches/fast cars. maybe when im 60 ha!
all depends what your after mate lots of people keep them standard, modify them heavily or sit somewhere in between.
my 182 isn't standard but they are subtle mods in my opinion, such as brembos, silvervisions, rs192 exhaust, itg panel filter (oh and recaro's) but in my eyes the car doesnt...
actually quite like the colour, bet it will look epic in the sun rather than under garage lights.
