Hi all On an imported 172 that has a hideously annoying alarm fitted, meaning the key fob button doesn't do anything and it's all down with the additional fob. Is there a way to remove this and replace the uch with a uk one (keys and locks etc) meaning that the fob would work the locks and...

Welcome to cs! It's not unusual to fall for the 172. I always said i hated the rattles but loved them as it was part of the charm. I might be after a few bits (hopefully one abs wheel sensor, brake peddle sensor and other bits and bobs) whereabouts are you located?

I will pm you and see if I can borrow it for 5 mins when I need it if you don't mind? I'll give you a drink or something. Hoping it can tell me the reason for the abs and serv light being on.
