I ran one on mine, it was made by a chap on here. I think the milltek ones fit the standard system. I plugged the sensor in and never got an light on the dash, but might have been the way the pipe was made.
Sounded a bit raspier and was well worth it imho.
I remember when I fitted cup springs to my standard 182, one of my managers used to go on and on about how much it had lowered my car by. In a p1ss taking way of course. That has stuck ever since and he still goes on about it now.
I doubt they would lee, as the general member of cs going to a meet or css won't be full throttle everywhere. The same as a battered corsa with a cherry bomb exhaust Booming and radio blasting will get stopped before me in my 172 with an exhaust on it and radio 2non loud because I won't stand...
Just sorted my lighting problem (for now) by removing the plug, opening the flap on the top, and bending the connection a little closed. Also twisted the pin on the bulb holder to create a closer connection. All sorted.
Give that a try and see whether it works for you too.
I would like to think some discretion would be used by the police viewing the convoy. All cs meets I've attended have been attended by people not doing burnouts and racing to and from the place of the meet so I think it'd be ok.
Not at all. I wouldn't let them do that. They'll just keep replacing parts until they fix it or you run out of money. Why can't they find the fault? I'd take the car back from them and take it to @MicKPM if he's close to you. It'll be cheaper and a lot better an experience.
I think the police would view some cars parked while having a meal or a non dangerous convoy of drivers obeying the speed limit (well I would hope so) differently to a bunch of idiots with mcds trays under their back wheels, music blasting or racing about Birmingham wheels style.
Absolutely. Far too many people would've shirked the blame, but you didn't. That says a lot about you as a person and a business. Wish there were more like that!!
There are signs everywhere now saying about spurt injunctions being obtained for idiots racing about. Unfortunately it doesn't stop them all from being d1cks on the roads. Orbital 'race track' being one such injunction area.
Looks nice from the one picture
I've got the same problem with the brake light/fog coming on. It's definately an earthing problem from what I've read, though ive checked a few boys I'm yet to try everything.
Well the wheel cleaner isn't half bad really. Got the muck off well and doesn't take much work. Obviously it's not perfect but it's good enough. Brought my turinis up nice.
Thank you, i have no idea when it comes to detailing. My old method was a sponge and whatever I had to hand for suds! Lol
At least I now use a microfibre mitt and decent wash.
Thanks @Dr Jekyll , managed to pick up 2 wheel cleaners and 2 paint sealants. Not sure why I got the sealants as I don't know what they do but assume it's wash, clay, Polish then sealant? Worth a try anyway. I'm no detailer so anything is better than nothing and for £4 it's worth it.
Good to see another kept on the road mate.
But why oh why are everyone else's scrapyards so cheap. I swear the ones local to me think they are main dealers selling brand new items.
Raking up an old thread that's been done to death, but I have this issue, took each light off to test the fault and it occurs with both just left and just right lights fitted.
So looking at the plugs they look perfect, the connectors on the bulb holders are fine apart from the top ones which...
