I agree. Try Twitter, speak to them about it via dm, they may be more inclined to help you if they think you'll tweet how bad the service is.
That price for extra data is like going back a few years.
I'm very suprised this hasn't been done already. I toyed with the idea back when I had money, but didn't have the ability to do it myself so left it.
I reckon it would look good though on coilovers but put some 182 wheels on too.
Welcome. On the centre section I had a pipe put into mine when I had it, cost £40 from an exhaust place (not powerflow) so shop about.
Welcome to the club, you'll love it. I miss my 182 all the time.
What a fun read mate. Love what you've done to it, really is a credit to you.
Sensible people (not me) would say don't waste your money but when you've got a finished product like this how can you not?
Keep us informed with any other updates.
Nice mate. Get some plain standard plates off eBay for about £10 a pair.
Then maybe have a go at colour coding, you'd be amazed at the difference that makes even on a black Clio.
Ahh campovolo grey, very very nice colour! I agree the more I look at them the more I like the colour on the wheels. If you'd had the car sprayed in this colour, complete win!!
My 1.2 16v was pretty much ragged around constantly and back then I didn't service it properly. I think the most I did was top the oil up, never changed it and I had it 3 years and did about 25k miles but it never missed a beat.
The 1.2 16v engine is quite a resilient engine so I'm led to...
Great write up, awesome pictures and great memories for you both.
I'd love to do a similar trip but to family in Malta, but I don't think I'd be allowed to subject her to my driving to the ring too.
I also ask the above question re cost too please.
I agree with N4th4n, it sounds alright to me. I'm guessing that the farm buildings aren't helping show the sound properly either. I would be in no rush to change it, if you do get stopped, then just get a silencer or cat out in.
Why would you have an exhaust made that couldn't easily have a cat put back in, bearing in mind you have to have one for an mot (yes I know there are 'those' mot stations but what if something changes?)
I also wouldn't be put off by amount of owners, it's not uncommon with these cars that people buy them and then realise they cost money to run and insure etc. also belt changes are expensive (compared to other cars)
I drove a v6 zs and it was a lovely car. I've never been a fan of the zr's although I did look into them at one point.
As a work in progress this is good. Keep on with it, as if it makes the missus happy then your happy.
