They recommended in the manual for my 172 to not drive over 80mph or rev past 4.5k until over 600 miles. Would have thought that is just in case but have heard a lot of people blast the hell out of theirs straight away! :D I was a wimp with mine though and waited for the 600 mile mark lol!

They do fit on pretty tightly. I found that the place I bought my car had used 6 or 7 sticky strips per plate. Ended up using my mums hair dryer! lol Heated up and came of no probs.

Its all down to personal prefence. I think its a shame that Ford have played on the success of the Focus by producing a mini-Focus out of the Fiesta. The ST looks in my opinion like a junior Focus RS and that puts me off a bit.

Ive only done a max of about 350 miles with the air filter off and I only had a an oil change just before this would of happened. There is a good chance that the filter only fell off in the last couple of days as the car was sat on my drive since Xmas Eve.
