I was went out last night and on my way home decided to give my 172 a blast down the mad mile on the A217 toward Sutton. Gear change light on in each gear up to 4th!! Hadnt driver the car for a few days and that put a big grin on my face. Feels good to own a car that cheers you right up!! :D :D

You may not necessarily get a fine/points. Ive gone through three cameras since I started driving and got flashed twice each time never had a ticket come through though. Fingers crossed nothing will happen.

I remember buying my first car and being told that an average is 12,000 miles a years. Doesnt really apply anymore!!! My girfriend does about 14k a year in her Fiesta ZS so it seems normal for do 13k+. :D

Thats the disadvantage of it, cold air and more efficient engine but more icey and more wheelspin!!! arse! Youre right though people told me that my engine sounded pretty loud (pre induction kit) but Id never noticed it.

With the turinis you cant go too wrong as multil-spoke style alloys suite most cars anyway. I dont think much of the 182 wheels though, just looked a bit fussy and personally didnt think they enhanced the look of the car over the old 172 wheels!!!! All opinion though, I changed the wheels...

The cold air is good for the car though so that probably helps. Ive notice my induction kit making quite a bit of noise since the weather got colder!! :devilish:

I suppose it depends on the dealer if they want to do it. Ive found since buying the 172 they have tried their upmost to keep me happy. Mine were replaced on the first service at 8500 miles which was a exactly a year old. Depends on the dealer though! :cry:
