No I haven't yet to be honest, I only asked them out of curiosity as they are in wolverhampton and have some decent reveiws from what I've found on other forums.

There is the old 'wives' take that lowered springs can lessen the life of standard shocks, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. Think they have tolerances larger than they used to.
I could be wrong (not unheard of) but I think it's this one.

Hi thanks!! Yeah a standard ph1 gearstick. Fitted it yesterday, was a bit of a pain ( and in my stupidity I fitted it wrong) but i really like it.
I am going to try but I'm working till 8 that day so unless I can get out of it, I will have to come to another. Gutted isn't the word!!
I haven't used him but I'd be going to fred at BTM in brum mate. I will be going there next. You could call 4 ashes Renault specialists in wolves but they messed up a simple quote on aux belt kit and it was still higher than BTM quoted so...

Just on the start you've been had over for some bits if thats what the garage are quoting/charging. Rear discs inc bearings and and rings are £100 genuine, frot brembo discs are £45 and the bulbs can be picked up for £20 pair.
Oh and the cambelt needs the kit...
Bit late now. It I fitted ph1 seats in a ph2 a few years back. They were easily fitted but the wiring was different. At the time I didn't wire them up so had the airbag light on, but as is said above a simple crimping would fix that.

Fitted my ph1 gearstick that I bought off Djw John (thanks mate!!) today, had a mishap of fitting it the wrong way around, but sorted that and it's great!! Gear changes are sweeter and looks a million times better than the ph2 gearstick!!
Ahh, for some strange reason (morning eyes and all that) I thought it was the man-cat joint he was looking to get changed. I'd love someone to come up with a solution to that bit!
