    Another dephaser thread!

Let it make noise, change it when your belts are due.

    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

Ruining it? Do tell? It's getting big brakes, OEM xenon's (orange indicators), wheel refurb, possible exhaust bypass pipe to add to noise, m sport steering wheel, possibly the facelift front bumper... But that's an expensive one, I'd love an m bumper, but I'm dreaming there tbh. Not me, lol...

New Clio 182 Series - 750 Motor Club

There's so many of us in the same boat, I hope its only one season. Standard Clio, 15's, cage, coilovers with a rrp limit, fuel cut off and extinguisher, decent pads and discs. Can you imagine how affordable this would be and how many of us would partake?

New Clio 182 Series - 750 Motor Club

I agree on it being a huge shame, it's the sort of thing I'd get involved I next year if it were more like I outlined. A cheap way into racing, where you won't be out spent by competitors, giving you a decent chance.

Cheers chaps, standard springs is a shame, they look and ride far better on eibachs apparently! I was trying to remember who that was! LOL! Cheers mate.

    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

Cheers chaps! Oh, and I finally know how to get the xenon's I have sitting in the garage working. The LCM (light control module) is part of the light switch and just needs re-coding to change voltages for the xenons to plug and play. So they'll be going on as soon as my CD and cable comes...

    E85 3.0 Z4 Roadster Project

Well, this hasn't been updated in a while... I've done a s**t load of mechanical work to the car in the last two weeks, namely: New clutch Gearbox oil Carried out here: Then, at the unit last night: Service New belts Oil filter housing gasket (to stop a small leak) I also managed to kerb...

New Clio 182 Series - 750 Motor Club

I'd rather s**t in my hands and clap. It sounds like the racing equivalent of selling your soul to the devil. Also, KTEC racing maps, actual LOL! "Here, come and race, using a company who's mapping has destroyed countless engines. Don't worry though kids, KTEC will rebuild for £10,999 plus...

Proper useful comment that. I'd personally buy a tvr, but that information would be of no use to anyone.

Urgent - Can't get N/S lower shock bolt back in!

Wire brush the bolt, check in the hole for anything that might have ended up in there, could be a little bit of metal or anything. Alternatively, have you checked both bolts are the same length? One may have snapped a bit off in one side, leaving one shorter.

Selling a 12k car on gumtree is like trying to sell genuine Rolex watches at Dagenham market, you'll never get offered even near what it's worth.

    Dan@SJM's 1720v

I don't know if I'm happy or sad, I do love charged Clio's, they feel mental, but (apart from outright pace) do you not think ITB's suit the character of the car better?

My home made intake made today :)

I was going to say, doesn't aluminium have very fast heat changing properties. i.e sure, it'll heat up, but it'll cool down just as fast, it doesn't retain heat. Get moving, it'll cool down silly fast with the cool air blowing through. I'd love to have something meaty knocked up for the zed, but...
