Ring the Motor Insurance Bureau, they cover drivers hit by uninsured parties. Two of the lads at work have had to do this and they are pretty sharp at sorting things out, one of the lads even got whiplash compensation from them.
Sorry to hear about it but there is a light at the end of...
I would go back to the origional dealer that did the repair if possible, dont mention the gearbox and ask if they garauntee their work if you brought your car in. If they say "yes we do, for 12 months" tell him you are bringing your car back as the gearbox they fitted is now knackered and you...
Been stopped by armed response unit once, nearly crapped myself. Someone had said that there was a silver escort driving around waving a gun out of the window. Wasnt me, still was placed face down on the floor while they checked though!:@ Come to think of it Ive had quite a few "funny" stops, lol
you do not have to carry any documents at all in your car, in fact, you are advised not to incase your car is nicked! That is why producers were invented! The only offence is to not produce your documents within the 7 day period.
I have had the same thing myself and the copper had to ring in...
As alot of people on here go to "cruises" and the like has anyone on here ever had much bother.
Reason I ask is that I have been cruising for about 8 years on and off and seem to be one of the only person I know that has never had any BIG trouble with the police.
I think in 8 years I have...
u know the damage yet?
I hate it when people crash, it kinda hursts deeeeep down that all that time and attention is gone. Hope all aint too bad and if it is get a better car and the pain becomes worth it
1.2 woudlnt take nos without a lot of work. Safe guidelines are absolutely no more than 50% extra than what the car runs without nos, so would have to be max 35ish shot of nos on a 1.2, however, a progressive controller would work, and they aint as easy as I thought they would be to install, (I...
all i can think is 200sx, though these aint really boxy, more sleek than boxy.
Early shape RX7, these were superb cars, and very quick, once moving.
Silvia, and these can really go with little work.
Any of these, early RX7 confuses people cos it looks nothing like current model...
Looks like someone is desperate to sell this?

Drove the car down to Liverpool for the weekend, left it unlocked ALL weekend and.................................................no one touched it!!!

Ive had them in for about 7 months now and was worried they would peel or something but nothing as of yet. Think all new Clios should have them in, removes the "fried egg" effect.;)

and about 4 clutches a week? lol, Is it true the evos REALLY dont like standing starts? (clutches burn out after 3 or 4?)
What a weapon though, was a Police Evo and a normal Evo VII racing against each other at Crail last year, that was something to see
personally I would have thought there would be problems too, I mean, and I MAY be wrong, but I was advised by a Renault dealer not to buy a Willy with a sunroof if I intended to up the power cos they aint that strong? Is this right? Seems a bit daft!
Guess Im just getting old and want a car...
I hate Powerflow as their systems do rot! I know they are garaunteed but I prefer well made systems that at least keep the shiny look for a bit longer than the 2 minutes my powerflow system did.
Question: The K-Tec exhaust will be tested to make sure it is working right, the powerflow one is...
got to remember that you cant tell a persons mood when they reply. I read them as questions more than out and out critisims, i think people need to remember that on forums as this is how arguements start and people are offended for no real reason.
A straight reply could have answered that one...
sounds like the ones people use to stop their cars dropping when they tow alot. i used this a long time back and it worked for dragging the car as it made the rear suspension real hard (ie better launches).
I read somewhere that whilst overtakluing you can exceed the limit by a maximum of 40mph (though have heard variants) as long as you slow back to the limit asap. I got stopped a while back for 75 in a 60 and said I was overtaking safely and slowed down after opassing the slower car. Copper...
