Handling is superb compared to standard. Works well with the standard wheels as I have had mine on for a bit(put them back on too early, damn snow). Got a piccie of the car with standard wheels and suspension if u want...
Renualt build quality aint that bad, relatively. My Vauxhall Astra has been back for about 15-20 faults so far, some major, some just me being particular. Would have refused it by now but its a company car and work dont care, so wont let me!
I had a few niggles with my Clio as new but...
yup, and I know it aint exactly SO-LOW but i couldnt think of any other names. 1st car Ive ever had where i can go over speed bumps!
Why do u ask? (just curious)
as I have said b4, I have got a set from TFG in Newcaslte and the quality is absolutely spot on. He has them available on next day delivery(better than euro parts) and charges about £125, and with all the snow we are having mine havent shown any signs of fogging up.
If you are intrested give...
Thats the good thing about living in the North East, we hardly have any cameras at all. I think there are only about 6 in the Tyne & Wear area, Durham Police area has absolutely none! Woohoo!
Only bad spot is a genuine black spot at Stannington on the A1 where they have reduced the speed limit...
got 17" super Ls in the graphite colour, they look superb and dont slow me down too much.

Had a few crappy ones, think a Corsa 1ltr 3cylinder thing was about the worst, or maybe the Punto Selecta!(variable auto box) it just sat a 5k all the time, took it back next day!
Zafira was a bit crap too, 1.8 and did about 20mpg, what a pile.
Best ever was as a sorry Renta Car gave me...

Still say that if the car is relatively new send it back to Renault! I wouldnt put up with it, but it does sound like h/g to me. Its basically water contamination in the oil.
They did one for the North East and it was FOR the cruisers. Strange, same BBC but different area, we even had the police saying they didnt mind what we were up to (eventhough they barracaded the area 2 weeks later!)
Sorry, but if you park a V6 (MK2) and an Elise next to each other Id be hard pushed to pick. The V6 is a bulldog of a car and the Elise is a geryhound! Too different to choose.
Go with gut feeling and revel in your choice! Lets face it, the V6 is nice, the Elise has that summer vibe with the...
DONT GO TO POWERFLOW, THEIR EXHAUSTS DO RUST. THEY USE THE LOWEST GRADE STAINLESS PIPES IN THE WORLD. IF YOU WANT A CUSTOM EXHAUST TRY TSUNAMI RACING IN GATESHEAD (NORTH EAST) BUT DONT, I REPEAT, DONT USE POWERFLOW!
the magnex 6x4 oval backbox does look the bollox on the clio and aint load at...
Ouchies, am I getting this right, is the car yours or Paul Freemantle? Are you a friend leaving a message for Paul? or the owner to hopefully reduce eplosive tendancies when the owner gets home?
I only ask cos this is what my missus did when she drove my car into the garage wall (obviously it...

Renault insurance are ok bu the extra £100 on your excess can make it a really high excess. Ring them and tell them everything you are going to do in one go cos they charge you £40 admin for every policy change after 30 days (or something like that) of the policy being in effect.
They pretty...
Its one of two things:
The 172 people know we have a secret weapon (ssssshhhhhh the secret power button only found on 1.2s)
Or:
They are just being gits and showing us how slow our cars are
