Anyone know if this lad is a member cos I wanna see this car close up. We have a kid round here with the same kit but without the bonnet and a different rear spoiler:

got some photos of it @ Crail last year. Not sure on that kit or any others on the market which is why i might just use many other bits and bobs and graft them together to create something "one off". Dont like the Ktec kits, plus too bloody expensive! Atomo kit is ok but not sure. Will take me a...
the calipers and drums are getting changed to white as soon as I can be arsed to do them. They look sooooo much better in white. Its Sunburst Yellow, and yes, its standard. Just looks nice when the sun hits the car as its setting.
cant decide, was gonna sell it but finance is more than the car is worth, getting new exhaust next month (just before frenchcarshow) and gonna make a rear splitter out of something (probably the usual Ibiza splitter) and maybe a Seat Toledo front splitter (nice and deep). Then some side skirts...
Dunno if Ive hosted this one yet but heres a shot of my car nice and clean, front arches are a bit high cos the front wheels were off for about 2 hours while I cleaned them. Any comments and suggestions?

always used autoglym products and never had any problems. Cant say I can be bothered to change now. Im used to what I know.
I do remember trying Mer a few years back, never got a good shine from their products
thats true, try bloody falken ze502s and then you will know the meaning of understeer, mainly in the wet though I have to admit, superb in the dry.
The reason for the tyres being changed? Dont suppose the tracking is way out, have you hit a curb or somehting? If the car aint aligned correctly...
hope you dont get a Punto Selecta like I did! Constant Variable auto bow (or something like that) was returned in less than an hour a Saxo 1.4 replaced it. Guy said no one will drive it! lol
look fookin nice though (for a Ford). seen one have a good race down the lane behind my house a while back, chased a Vts and mullered it. Its cornering speed was superb, he wouldnt race in a straight line though. That should tell you something
Well done mate. Cossies arent what they used to be. As someone said the hothatch car market has moved up a notch or two since the Cossie was conceived.
Wish I had been there but want to go to Elvington next week to watch ten of the best. Will be some stonking motors coming down with us (convoy...
"it wasnt me driving"
"are you sure it was my car"
"i was over 40 miles away from there at that time"
"is that camera accurate?"
All things not to say when asked for reasons why you are disputing the ticket (if you get one at all).
Dont worry until/if a ticket lands on the door...
they are bloody quick for a 1.6. Aint the price not that far off what a cup is? Might be worth the extra (if insurance aint the main reason for the 1.6)
wish I had the moeny to go, anyone do a total mileage for the weekend plus fuel/hotels/food/racing expenses. Last time I did a weekend similar total costs came to about £520 per car! Was worth every penny though in the end
and they are about the best standard brakes I have ever used! even better than an MR2 Turbo (which have got HUGE monsters for brakes).
Aint it nice when you go to the dealer with a lovely list of repairs!
nice to see someone that dares use a Lambo, most people that own them are 60yr old relics that drive them once a month.
I always prefer to race something faster than me for the challenge but that takes the piss! lol
sick of the stalling problem, so far I have had a repair to my wiring harness, a new throttle body, 2 ecu re-maps!, and a new wiring harness. Problem is still there! Must say the waiting for the lights to go out does work.
For the extra speed bit I can vouch for that, mine hit about 9-10K...
I have the 1.2 16v and have driven the dci80, if you can get the 80 get the diesel, more fun and more potential, plus all the money you save on juice you can spend on mods!
who cares, if it can well done, if it cant, so what.
Havent pretty much all of the supercharged Saxos self destructed a while later? Just what I heard, might be wrong

Handy when converting from 15s to 17s, suprised that the difference with mine is only 1.9%:

the problem with the V6 kit is you see the car, think WOW, then the front wheels spin as the car pulls away, leaves you gutted!
There is a very nice V6 copy I saw in Hartlepool last year, was a very smart job.
He had paid about 5K for it to be done though!
cant get any super leggeras atm. OZ have had a problem with the moulds and are not realeasing any dates for new wheels to be made. Apparently a large batch of wheels started cracking!
Saying that for the right money I coul dbe persuaded to seel mine ;)
