i'm amazed at the effort and money put into this!
are you a lottery winner? what's your background, mechanic, motorsport technician or something.
Top job Ben
Ah, the inspiration behind my very own. Love it :)
I still remember that phone call all those years ago about fitting H&R's without the c spanners, LOL
aaaaah and finally a spotted in the 5 years of owning it! a mate of mine lives near there.
yep, she's a beaut that's for sure. keep the oil fresh and keep the quarter miles down and they do last ;)
had her from new many years ago, still to this day i haven't had the urge to sell for...
track car or not get the 172 cup. the 182 cup wasn't the best from renault imo. get one quick though, far too many are being written off.
also, if you're going to tamper with it. start with the suspension first, then brakes and leave the engine well alone imho. it will last longer
Fear not everyone, the man in the pic jet washing my engine bay is probably the best renault technician in the country. And I'm not joking! He knows this car inside out so know what he's doing.
There's a few in here that will vouch for this too. He's not normal, lol
you should have heard tommy when he was emptying the truck wash into the engine bay, lol
"what the fcuk is he doing"
the grippa is a legend, he managed to straighten a super crisped 15" wheel for me for a spare with a mallet. it was fcukered
difficult to say really, more than the typical 200 miles you hear i reckon.
i'll get everything checked up again soon, probably before my next ring trip as early as possible next year.
It was originally setup with 1.3 negative, I wouldn't want to go anymore. At high speeds it feels really light at the front anyway.
Not sure on the toe in but i did get a full and thorough alignment check not so long ago, this showed how far out it was! Needed a blow torch to get the track rods...
