Looks real nice. I know what you mean about painting blue. I have a gold clio but the gold caliper paint looked wrong cos it wasnt the same shade and actually clashed!
Well done that man for modding asap!

Well, I may have bought a 1.2 16V Dynamique for the missus but I enjoy driving the little bugger tat much I have spent around 2k on mods so far!
Saying that, you can keep your 172s and Cups, give me a Williams any day, I can still remember them coming out and NOTHING catcing them. Nowadays...

this is what mine looked like after 35mm springs, 1 day after, now you cant see the top of the back wheel! (more a 45mm drop than 35mm, think its just a guess irl)
<A target=_blank href=...
only thing I can say is that my supposed 35mm drop is closer to 45mm! I think the figure is more of a guide than reality! So be careful, if u wanna go silly low just remember although it looks the nuts handling can often become worse if the car goes too low.
If technically all is ok then go...
seems the Falken rubber allows cars to go alot lower aswell due to the shape of the side wall. Seen something about Falkens on another board somewhere. They do have very flat sides to them
Kenwood KDC-M9021 h/u - £350 (seen them as high as £600 when I got it)
Vibe 10" active sub - £180
Jackson 5.25" Components - £60
Wiring - £30
All in all a cheap install that sounds better than the cost of its parts. (Kinda proves you dont have to spend thousands to get good results)...
You really need a new head unit 1st. Problem with the origional unit is that it doesnt have any rca connections (these allow you to run an amp). You can get a splitter (which I think is called an rca splitter) and what that does is turn your rear speaker wires into rca feeds for the amp...
I ran the Clio up for a laugh but a combination of small crappy engine, subs and amps, 17s and a fat driver left me with a time of 19.02. I know thats crap but everything bar another Clio got beat by me..................to the 60ft line. Seems the Clios have got good traction from the start...
you can get them but most are just dumy aeriels, best bet is to go to a dealer and pay top dollar for one (thats if they will sell you one) some companies are doing a shark fin flashy light thing but its a bit too boy racerish for even me! ;)
Could always try a scrapyard for a recently crashed...

In the northeast you can get a Clio done for about £150-£200 for a verying level of tint. They also supply you with a certificate of legality, thus reducing the hassle from our friendly boys in blue!
Personally I want tints for the pure fact that in summer they cool the car down superbly...
Cool, looks like the V6 dosnt really like being thrown about? Seems to come out of a spin too easily, or is that it is eluctant to go into one to start with?
ne way, looked awsome.
Nice to see the black Extreme with the same wheels as mine but in silver (super Ls), cant believe the...
Anyone know who th e guy at Crail this weekend was? Got to hand it to you, not only dragging the perfect car in true style but also ripping the tyres to shreds on the drifting track! Well done that man!
BTW nice to see that plenty of Clios are starting to attend events throughout the...

And where or who is Connects2UK? Got any more info? Really wana get a convertor wire for mine. I have a KDC-M9021 Kenwood unit and apparently it will interface with the standard heads up display, just aint paying the earth for a cable and ripping the dash out to do it! Lets face it, how many...

If u want it to look good then contact WRC Ltd in Newcastle. They sell multi coloured neons (green and purple kinda thing going on).
Neons are only any good on a completed show car where u wanna show off at night. Remember, they are completely illegal to have them switched on whilst driving...
