It could be the clutch cable, I've had 3 so far. They get sticky and end up squeeking so get that looked at. Difficult to say without driving it. How many miles has it done? It could be the clutch itself, not cheap. Just had mine done after 78,000 miles.

I luckily have a garage near work that can weld stainless so got mine fixed there when the mounting arm snapped. Cheap aswell.

With the right tools, 1 hour max to change. Piece of pisces. If they're seized on though, you'll need a hub puller...eh Darth/Cup/whatevercake?! ;)

Bear in mind you want to find a welder that can weld stainless steel or it will rust! There is a difference, but sure you all know this?

make sure the camber is adjusted, no need for dodgy camber bolts either. find someone with a clue and it's possible.
