exaclty, it's finding somewhere to do a good job though.
just looking through the latest evo and they've had their new carrera GT resprayed for £9000...wtf!
Thinking about the bodywork that needs to be done my cup, it's probably going to cost a bit as there will be a bit of paintwork being done.
Firstly, how much do full resprays cost and would plain old white be cheaper than mondial blue?
Imagine a white cup, just how they should be...on...
Oh I forgot about the bumpers. Front one has massive black stone hits and the rear has a graze on the arch lip. Poor thing has been through it:(
Trouble is spending money on it is probably pointless given it's age/mileage etc. Will have to go through a dealer when I change and I'll have to bite...
Mate I've lost count of the normal stone chips, then there's the monsters one down to metal and the other dips inwards. Got a ridge on the bonnet and about 10 dents from carparks. It needs about £1000 of bodyshop work doing to it.
I remember seeing the review in EVO of this a while back.
Slightly random question but why aren't angleworks/gdi and the other tuners that do all the work mentioned above have an article in EVO, Autocar and such?? Just curious, surely that would help?
I can't fault my H&R's. They're great on the road but probably a little soft for track use but that would be nit-picking. The damping and rebound is spot on especially considering how much less travel there is over the standard 4x4 setup. Much better ride quality.
As above, you pay for TUV...
Mines done nearly 70k now and it shows on the bodywork and could do with a nce over from a bodyshop but to be fair it's not too bad considering the track abuse and motorway miles. Inside is fine, few scuffs on the door cards but that's it. Hardly any rattles either.
Nice pics of the cup and omars.
