Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Nope, unless anything has changed recently. Mine is using Brembo high carbon discs.
I'm happy with them, but separate bells/rotors would, of course, be a nice addition!
yeah, I noticed the comp-brake uses them :)
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
I seem to remember Mark making a comment about the possibility of developing bells and rotors, so I'm hoping he pursues this idea!
What 15's are you going for? There's very little clearance with my 2118's, literally a couple of mm, if that! lol

Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Thanks; I've been running the GAZ kit for roughly a year now and there's been no leaking thus far, result I think! ;) lol!
2011
I've a rough list of things/ideas to get through in 2011, the most comprehensive being the throttle bodies I mentioned previously...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Thanks. For a while, I was also looking into the JMS manifold; it is very appealing.
I'm wanting to have the bodies in January/February, but it will be a while until I've collected everything else and had it fitted/mapped. :)

And it did, all sorted. Easy fix for a stupid problem

I'm hoping disconnecting the battery will clear it; from searching and reading a few threads on here, it seems people have resolved the same issue by doing that :)
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
Remote locking decided to give up yesterday evening :dapprove:
I parked up, got out the car, pressed the button on the key and nothing happened. My first thought being the battery in the key had died, but when I got home and tried the other key, there was still...
Came across a couple of guys 'boosting' for the first time tonight.
The guy on our team dropped a tactical insertion and was purposely getting killed repeatedly by a player on the opposite team. Then he'd respawn close-by and they'd do it again, and again and again... :dapprove:
At the end of...
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
There's a guy on here who makes them. He has a big thread in the for sale section with everything in and a link to his ebay shop.

They don't look like GOLD's to me either; just the normal cheaper ones.
The gold's have an adjuster knob on the side of fronts and are a slightly different shape iirc.
Re: Iceberg 172 Cup Project
I got mine off of ebay, brand new for £5 :)
The seller had bought a box of them iirc and was selling them off; think it was just lucky timing, as I've not seen them again
