the noise will be a bearing... but is your steering wheels off centre at all ?

thats tracking or wheel allignment as some people call it.. when you get that done make sure the people use lasers and not the old fashioned equipment..

if wheel bearings affected it like that the car wouldnt move in a straight line because the bearings are found in the hub and are used as long as the car is moving not just braking.. that problem sound more like tracking to me

not braking in a straight line is a different problem.. your other wheel bearings will be ok if its just that one.. does it make a whiring sort of noise ?

Got my wheels back today :) kindly refurbished by Haz(511) who i think has done an excellent job.. highly recomended !! wasnt to sure of the colour at first but its growing on me however i will be doing them satin black when i get back from holiday ;) what do u guys think ? by the way...

my dads got a tahiti blue one which is nearly finished being restored.. engine is going back in this week :) then all that needs to be done is the interior... he had a yellow one back in the day with the rover v8, holley carbs and a nitrous oxide system lol however hes grown up since bless him..
