my in car thermometer thinks its in spain when it blatantly isnt lol whats the part i need to check or most likely replace ?

passenger side door mirror there is a temp sensor in there you can see it sticking out of the bottom thata what usually goes wrong

iv got the same problem, new sensor is in order apparently for about £40.
