never had a car come back a year or so later for bad laquer so it cant be that bad. and you kinda backed up my statement when you said it doesnt matter what primer you use.. so why ask? in our bodyshop we use cellulose on small repairs and for general primering as its cheap, it dries quicker...

big bodyshops will have their own mixing system, small bodyshops generally goto a local paint supplier to mix the paint for them. we mix up the colour to the paint code then tint if necessary.

yup, with paint, 3 litres of high solid red, quick mop n polish, job done. all you gotta do is mask it up and paint it. looking at a days work with allowing it to bake off

never heard of a mask & blast? hmm you just worked in insurance approved bodyshops doing insurance work or something? weve had loads in different bodyshops where someones prepped it then they just need it painting. if the repairs s**t its not your problem, you just gotta paint it for them
