Turning onto St Margarets Way ;)
Earlier today; would have been about 1:30pm
Had just come out of the highcross john lewis carpark and heading in the opposite direction to you :)
I think I'll get the coilovers sorted first, then make the wheel colour choice afterwards :)
Do fancy having dark wheels again though; hides brake dust so well :D lol!
Cheers :D
Not 100% decided on what colour the wheels will be going; probably going to be anthracite. They need doing anyway, regardless of colour, as the rears are starting to bubble and the fronts have been curbed by a previous owner :(
Spent some time today giving the cup a proper clean :D
Before it gets dirty and dull again, I thought I'd gets a few snaps :)
Hoping to get a carbon front splitter ordered during the week; the cup splitter was missing when I bought the car :(
Fingers crossed the wheels will...
I had a cf bonnet on my last car; that didn't like stones either!
Only had it on the car for a couple of weeks and after a few motorway miles it had already started to pick up a few little chips
Well the speaker cable runs from my amplifier in the boot, down to where the cross-overs are mounted under the passenger seat. Then speaker cable runs from the crossovers to the woofers and tweeters :)
The ZR's are bi-wire'able too, meaning you could run four independent channels into the...
Cool :D
I'm a big fan of JL Audio stuff; never listened to a set of TR's mind, but they seem to be pretty popular on here :) I have ZR525's running in my Clio and absolutely love them! :D
It was £25 delivered :)
Cheers!! :D
Looks sweet does that! Is that a carbon splitter you have on?
My cup was missing it's splitter, so I was going to go gloss carbon :)
haha!! Aaron keeps telling me the SportKa looked better! Go give him a slap across the back of the head! :rasp:
There's some photos of it somewhere on here, from when I joined, but...
What are you running around in now? Thought you were looking at an M3? :)
Cheers! :D
Quality of the diamond is spot on; very impressed!
Was originally going to spray my original diamond anthracite, but going carbon just seemed that bit cooler. Need to have a look at the rear diamond now too I think, see what can be done with that :)
I was pretty lucky with my last car, it didn't pick up too many parking dints :D
I bought the Clio in October; it was generally in very good condition, just a few little dints and marks on bodywork and wheels from previous owner. Fingers crossed I can get the exterior tidied up, wheels refurbed...
Yep that was definetly me! lol! :)
Tried to park out the way of everyone; don't want anymore parking dents on it!! Should be alright once they're sorted and the wheels and have been refurbed though, not got around to sorting it yet :D
Yups, I have :)
May not have been me you spotted, but when I saw the thread title saying Wigston, I assumed it could have been me on the way home from fossepark :D
Thought it might have been me, as I've been out tonight! :D But then I noticed you said a ph1 :( lol!
See loads of Sport's around Leicester, but not very many around Wigston
Pressed metal number plates; GB banding and font, etc :)
Now the speakers, amp and headunit are in the car and running, there's a few things I'd like to get done this side of christmas :D
Sorting the small parking dents in the nearside rear quarted
Turini's refurbed...as they really need...
Few photo updates! :D
The amplifier was wired in on Thursday; the JL ZR speakers sound absolutely fantastic!!
That amplifier won't be used forever. As I posted before, it'll be switched for a 4-channel JL Audio slash series when I sort some rear speakers :)
Couple of half decent...
