Black 182, lowered, dark turinis; looked spot on
K*** BHO
Parked in the customer car park at Renault Leicester, Abbey Lane this afternoon/evening :)
CS stickers in rear window/s too
lol! I remember seeing an iceberg 172/182 earlier today and, seeing you have an iceberg too, assumed it was you :o
The more I look at the silver turinis, the more I'm thinking of staying silver :D
Yeah that's an option too :)
When I bought the car, with it being iceberg, the plan was to get the wheels anthracite, but I'm really starting to like the silver turinis on it!
I'd like to have a couple of spare wheels at least, so I may sort a couple of cup turinis to go on the car in...
The turinis on it now have seen better days tbh; the two on the front have some light curbing done by a previous owner.
The two on the rear are corroding though! I knew they'd need sorting when I bought the car a couple of months ago, just didn't quite expect bits of paint to be flaking off...
I was on my way back to Leicester from up in Manchester; that few miles directly through Stoke always feels like forever! lol!
Yes mate, got turinis; it's a 172 cup in iceberg :)
Spotted a couple of other 182s not long after spotting you too
I've been getting prices from a few Renault dealers; best quote being £575, which I don't think's bad :)
It's more the offset issue and the fact that it's been said by a few people that the higher offset trophy version may upset the handling.
Having said all that, when cleaned up, I love how...
Cheers for the replies; I'm currently in two-minds as of which way to go! :dapprove:
I was pretty much ready to order them, however, I'm now a little concerned that the difference in offset between the 38.5 and 45 will make a noticable difference in the way the car handles/feels :dead:
I had thick velcro strips previously and they worked great :approve:
Mine are on with heavy-duty double sided tape now (pressed metal plates) and that works equally well :)
Black 182, CS sticker in back window
Around 11am this morning, heading down the A50 away from Stoke area.
Car looked sweet; pretty well slammed :)
