I had 195/40/16s on my 8J wheels on my previous car; never had any issues :)
How wide are the wheels you're putting them on?
I used a place that had been recommended by a mate, mainly because they had done it before and knew what they were doing :)
Picked up some EGP yesterday, so could get the wheels sorted and ready using :D I did one wheel yesterday, then the other one this afternoon :)
Started with AG SRP
While buffing it off
Then it was the EGP. After leaving it to dry for 30-40 minutes
After the EPG layer
Just gave them...
I used a paintless dent removal place when I had my previous car; they did a fantastic job! Panel was perfect after they had finished with it and took less than an hour to do 5 dents on my door :)
Mine were all small dints from people opening doors, but there were people with large dents, etc...
Looks like you've done a good job of getting it off; glad it hasn't appeared to have caused any lasting damage :)
As above, it doesn't look like it's been done intentionally to me
I've some SRP in the garage, so would just need to pick up EGP :D
That combination's supposed to be pretty durable and long lasting from what I've read in the past? :)
Any recommendations for what to use to seal/wax them? Really wanting to protect them as much as possible against road salt, etc
I've used SmartWax rim wax in the past and been pretty happy with it :)
Thanks :D
They do look great being all new; I'll see how they look when they're on the car, but may end up ordering another two if the newness makes them look different to the older ones already on the car :)
They worked out at £175.01 each :(
The penny matters :D lol!
After trying to decide which way to go with my wheels I made a decision; I couldn't decide between keeping with turinis silver or going to anthracite
Decided I really like the silver on my iceberg cup  A couple of the wheels were in pretty desperate need of a refurb, but I also fancied...
MacBook Pro :approve:
Still have my iMac and MacBook sitting here doing nothing, but I think the iMac is being sold to a mate tomorrow :D
1Tb Time Capsule
2 Airport Express' for wireless streaming
Wireless Mighty Mouse
iPhone 3G
80GB iPod Video; permanently lives in my car now
2x Apple...
Yeah, I loved my W7 :D I'd say it was definitely worth the money
Didn't want the weight of a sub in my 172 cup though, so just opted for some JL ZR comps and they sound incredible in the Clio! I thought I might miss the bass, but I'm loving the clarity and punch of the ZR's :)
