If you use a micro fibre cloth it will take the glue off, pulls it into the cloth..... That's what the local tint guy up here uses.
Also I would stick with the yellow ducts looks better than the black photo shop option (imo)
Your cars coming together mate, looks great, and don't keep a track...
Looks like your starting off in the right direction mate, weight loss is the best performance mod in a Clio.... Good choice in seat too, I have 2 in mine. Vey comfortable and certainly up for the job! They are the same as the genuine cup racer seats seemingly...... Looking forward to watching...
They mucked one up for me and refunded, other option is roll it over, or of course sell my t on, Fraser is going to sign, might be worth a text??....... Or It's worth a call to knock hill as they are quite helpful
you will do. I have never really looked at that issue with standard struts. it would be a case of thicker oil and or a gas upgrade, but key would be stiffer springs too. I run full race spec springs on mine 90n front & 110n rear which have flattened the car out amazingly well. I also have...
To be fair I would go coil over, but that's just me. I run AST. Shock wise the guys up here seem to run standard cup with either eibach or cook sport springs with great results too......
I had those fail on me under extreme heat, and switched to the Carbon Lorraine RC6's. the CL pads are a massive leap above your DS2500 but seem to eat the wheels more.
if you wouldn't mind:up: letting me know how the sealer works it would be appreciated. I hope its not been a waste of £25...
I think you get wheel sealer mate, don't know how much it will help to be honest. Those were stained by ds2500 pads, and the rc6's we now use are even worse..... It would just be a shame to see yours end up like mine as the blue and white looks really good.... I ended up getting mine re powder...
Most likely...... scratched up as a track expense, not too bad for approx. 1000 laps of fun lol.
Must try and get down south and try out some new track fun next year, and get a look a that engine of yours in the flesh!!!
It was what appeared to be a relatively slow speed spin judging your pace in the other videos! I certainly wasn't expecting it to go round as I'd anticipated you'd catch it. Then it went round! Lol!
Videos are always difficult to judge speed from though.
It wasn't that quick that's what was...
Yeah, not one of the more impressive sessions....... from the go you can see how far the tyres are gone over the first video!! expensive learning curve lol!! driving like a t**t also didn't help.... :weary:
I quite like the rears at 110, stops the front lifting as much (maybe just in my head of course), but I do like the rear hard and sliding........... let me know how you get on when you drop them, just curious to gauge your opinion...... generally I run full hard on the AST's (rear), rock...
I had that factored in for the winter mate. I have two aero catches to fit and then the grinder is out :-).
Its 90 up front 110 rear. Seems to handle well with them......
That's quite a show of Trophies @Tim. yours looks stunning in the earlier photos............. I'm guessing I would be hung, drawn and quartered if i brought mine down to such a celebration 🙈 !!
Yours does look spectacular mate, makes me think i should have restored it to standard and...
And now the clip of the spin........ Watching it back sense should have kicked in!! it was the of the end of the night, the tyres had gone off and the tell tale signs were all there in the laps leading up to the off, the car was getting pushed a little too far and we were drifting wider and...
Session days are actually ok mate and do give slightly better value for money, but they do come with their risks................. I booked up for the open day on the 25th this morning, but the car is booked into the body shop on Monday the 19th, so fingers crossed i get it back on the...
Well now that I have figured out how to upload the in car videos I've put one up below of the 30.08.2015 sessions day at Knockhill. We entered two groups that day (2 & 5) and had I not left the camera on and flattened the battery, then there might have been more to show! It was the first...
