And below 2 photos of how that rear quarter looks after the track night...
Caught the gravel on the way into Butchers. Saved it, snapped...
Lol i was just saying to Fraser I don't know if my RC6's will last Thursday night and they have only seen 3 days (1 of which was wet) and one 2 hour night.....might be a short lived session for me on Thursday...
Went really well mate, very reliable and seemingly sounds amazing, its hard to tell when your in the car with the helmet on but it is very loud...... Hopefully someone can do a bit of pit wall filming in Thursday for me!!
Thanks mate, it does seem to sit well and to be fair it went really well at the track day yesterday. Got a lot of comments and the only thing that past us was a mega horsepower Evo. One of the guys I passed says he has go pro footage of it spitting flames as well....... Should be worth a view...
An absolutely nothing update other than i thought she polished up rather well today........... anyway, all checked over 888's on in the hope of a dry day and loaded up........!
Fingers crossed for trouble free run tomorrow
Have to agree with Neil mate, if you want a racing car strip it, if you want something you can use to travel about in leave it be.
They are so loud stripped, engine and road noises terrible, drowning exhaust magnified and on a wet day worse!! Of course shove the helmet on a fly round the...
Car looks really tidy mate, genuine and clean  my OCD is dying for you to clean the floor below the pedals :smile::smile::smile:......... Lol, look forward to reading your updates
I think it may be busy mate, but I agree honest works....... if you know its going to be a month you can deal with it!
let me know how you get on with the AVO's
tonight's update........
New springs fitted, no new shiny top nuts though, surprise surprise!! not the end of the world and if they ever do arrive it will be an easy change over!
Usual picture happy update for you with a few added notes below... sorry to bore!!
Fronts 20Nm harder, and 10mm...
Also check that the power steering pump is tightened correctly... Slack bolt in that can make it sound like something is rattling about inside the engine! Worth a check before you start throwing major cash at it....
What spec is the 335, similar to mine?
Ueah
Yeah I got hot the last spot mate, all paid for and rating to go.... Only problem is I'm working in Aberdeen that day so the car will be at knockhill waiting on me, I just hope the traffics good on the way down or I may be doing a half hour stint!
A little update tonight....
Jenvey revised backing plate arrived and the filter of death has been replaced!!
Big thanks to Nigel @ Jenvey for his help and prompt service on return from his Holiday
Only other update is that the 2 front race spec springs have arrived too...
That's s**t man.... Chuck an engine in it just now, get some use out of it and make the rebuild on yours an over the winter project.....
Real shitter as you've put a a lot of time and effort into it :-(.
I know its becoming expensive already!! just called Curtis who confirms that the front springs should arrive today as well (coming from Eibach as they didn't have any!!!) and the top nuts he told me they had loads of, and would send no problem, he doesn't actually have!! WTF
Well the spring delivery arrives................ 4 springs ordered and 2 nr new top nuts............and further disappointment when I open the box!! 2 springs only, no top nuts and sent to the billing address and not the delivery address.....
really!!!
