did it polish up alright?
my moms rover 200 has the same thing on the wings, it looks like loads and loads of spots of rust, but with a damng good mop with g3 ill get them out
to me it doesnt look like panel rust or spot rust, does look like industrial fillings or something that have embedded themselves in the laquer and appear to make the car look rusty.
what do they feel like?
can you pick any of them out? are they sharp? really hard to tell from pictures
pretty sure you have to paint them yourself as they didnt come colour coded from factory, could be wrong though.
why not just paint yours anyway? work out cheaper
yep, just watch your rubber seal as it will burn it, same with any plastics/rubber etc.
headlights are fine though
but to clean windows, best thing you can use is a stanley blade flat. just scrape it over all the window and it leaves a smoother finish than any polish etc that ive tried
yup, ide give your car a quick wash first to to get rid of any crap so you dont go spinning grit around your panels.
dont need much G3 if your using water too as it goes a pretty long way. generally i dip my fingertip into my tub and wipe it on then mop away, and keep doing that, dip your hand...
rotary is better than a pc IMO
ive never used one but going on what people have said about them and the spec of them its basically a rotary for amateures. it eliminates the risk of burning through the paint on edges considerably as its random orbital.
i can get a finish as good as any pc with...

oh i thought you had a mop (rotary)
ive used a couple of those heads before and they am just a backing pad with about an inch of thread sticking out. wouldnt advise using a drill for mopping at all if im honest.
just buy yourself a mop off ebay, you can get them with heads for under £40
bucket of water, some masking tape to tape up plastics.
some polish would be good too, something like G10 or i use autoglym super resin, just something to tickle it afterwards
