There's a library of models etc, some of which will be standard kitchen units, standard sizes.
All you have to do is survey your kitchen, bung those sizes into CAD and then import some standard units for size reference.

Removing the seat cover not 100% is actually easy, and getting them back on too. The problems start when you take the RIGHT off, which you wouldn't need to.

2D is terribly easy (I would say that), but the 3D stuff is just very time consuming and trial and error for me at the moment. I'm better in Maya/Google Sketchup.
