Likewise, and yes it does leave gloss enhancers behind that are great for bare cars but protected doesn't look as... crisp.

Cloths. Not drying towels. For towels I agree slightly damp is the way to roll.

Usual non bio soap that you use, but no conditioner. And dry naturally in the air, not in a dryer.

I see no reason why not. I spritz pads with QD to prime them when using Menz and 3M polishes. Presume an AIO wouldn't respond any differently.

    Which one would you recommend?

He says, using them ;) Anyway, back OT, Hyper Wash is one of the best diluting products available, so is great for; wax safe snow foam, wax safe washing, APC cleaning, interior wipe downs, engine bay cleaning, wheels, arches, shuts, around the house etc. John@PB did some calculations and got to...

Tripple is not as good as it should be by hand at 10pm. Let alone by machine during the day. Advise against it Adammmdotcunit, I've experienced it lately (didn't stop me, but like you, I need it done this week prior to a car show next).

    polishing and sealing gelcoat

:( I miss the hum of a good plane. Not been for two years now, since moving to London. Effing shame! Anyway, back OT, I'd email and speak to Rob about getting it done properly, Harv. Few ££ outlay for a good year or two of protection.

    polishing and sealing gelcoat

Ah nice! Apologies, on the phone before so couldn't see the picture and make out what it was! In that case, I would be definitely looking at a nano sealant over C2V3 and tbh, if it was mine, I'd pay Rob to do it if you're not happy diying it. It won't cost the earth for a dinghy. The only thing...

    polishing and sealing gelcoat

Ah ok. In that case, P1 or P2 in my eyes. Shouldn't need a lot. What condition? Salt water use I presume? http://gtechniq.com/shop/3s-for-yachts/polishing/p1m-3s-nanocomposite-polish-marine/ Depends how au fait you are with applying a nano sealant. If you're happy to have a bash because it's a...

    polishing and sealing gelcoat

I wouldn't polish it fella. If it's new, I'd do an IPA wipe down and just keep on top of it. We wash down dad's RS200 having applied FK1000p to it a while ago and still beads and washes down just fine, even when he goes to Minorca with it.

Clay bar.......Not to sound like a tard but

Yeah I don't think you quite get what claying is. Imagine using a razor blade on a bobbly jumper. When you run the razor over the jumper, the blades remove the bobbles that stick out from the surface. Claying your car's paint is the same idea, except the clay is the razor (lots of tiny cutting...

What Started it all - Products/Reasons (Noobs GTFO)

I remember my first flat line. Mum used a scouring pad on the Escort estate bonnet to get some paint that SOMEONE flecked onto it while painting his (or her) bike... I corrected it by hand with multiple hits of SRP!!

Stage one map on a 225 S3 usually sees 255. With the larger Turbo Intake Pipe from Badger5 people see 270+ on stg 1. I'm lucky enough to have a strong engine!

That I didn't know. But guessed you're not a white haired old boyo that takes up two lanes like an arsehole. Also, FYI, a 1.8T boosts away from a 320d with ease ;)

I just question without trying to sound clever. Doesn't seem to wind them up, but does call out the wrong doings. Also, speaking of trolling, since yesterday I'm so tempted to now send a photo of every black 320d I see and ask if it's you lol!!
