what was the sachs part number on the box, i'll have to double check tomorrow but pretty sure on the ph2's we only stock the valeo one. for ph1's there's a part number listed under sachs, but the ph2 one fits too - so that's the one i always sell.

i've used pe2's twice now, excellent tyre imo.

checked coil pack, leads, condition of plugs?

most likely tdc sensor, mine does this too. might want to try taking off the tdc sensor and cleaning it, see if that helps. If not, worth changing it, not too expensive.

sweet, i have a soft spot for volvo's!

can't imagine it being particularly great, i don't even like 16's on the clio - much prefer my sets of 15's.
